Eric Trump: “No Question in the World” That Bitcoin Will Hit $1 Million

JACKSON HOLE, Wyo. — Eric Trump, the son of former U.S. President Donald Trump, has expressed strong confidence in the future value of bitcoin, asserting that it will surpass $1 million. During his appearance at the SALT conference in Jackson Hole, he identified as a “bitcoin maxi,” emphasizing his deep enthusiasm for the cryptocurrency.

Trump co-founded a bitcoin mining venture called American Bitcoin earlier this year, which has piqued his interest in the crypto space. He noted that he’s dedicating over half of his time to projects related to cryptocurrency and has maintained a bullish outlook, predicting bitcoin will reach $175,000 by year-end.

In his remarks, Trump shared personal anecdotes to highlight perceived shortcomings of the current financial system, arguing that bitcoin and blockchain technology could provide solutions such as expedited transactions and efficient payment settlements.

American Bitcoin, a fusion of his company with American Data Center co-owned by his brother Donald Trump Jr., is gearing up for a public listing on Nasdaq through a merger with Gryphon Digital Mining. The Trump brothers hold a 20% stake in the company while the remaining 80% is owned by bitcoin miner Hut 8.

His upbeat comments came just hours after Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong made a similar forecast, suggesting bitcoin might hit $1 million by 2030.
